I give many 5 stars and I would give 5 stars but it is not suitable equipment for which I have received it. I got it to fit my HP printer but the cover around the part of the cable that goes into the printer is too big to fit the recessed area of the connector even though it claims to be HP . My point is that this is more of a printer issue than a cable issue, but the description actually said HP so I had to knock it down for that. I bought some cables because I have completely changed my office and needed all new long cables. I had specific length cables that I needed for specific devices depending on their location in the room and what the devices were doing, and luckily I left a few extra feet on each so I could swap 2 of them. (I have many different devices that require these types of cables and quality is important). Switching lengths wasn't what I really wanted to do, but I made it work. If this was the only cable I bought I would be very upset. I connected it to my other printer, Epson 1430, it worked very well. It seemed a lot faster than my old cable I had before I moved everything (although it was shorter). I could connect the printer wirelessly, but sometimes a cable seems like the easiest way to stay connected. The quality seems very good and if your plug isn't countersunk I would recommend it.
