It's much lighter than I expected, both in terms of carrying capacity and feel. A few years ago I got a leather backpack as a present. . Made entirely of leather, treated with mink oil, it turned out beautifully! Within 6 months the main zip started sticking and within 2 years none of the zips stopped working! Now this bag, the zipper works smoothly, with mesh, the weight is greatly reduced! I wonder how long it will take though. I wear it almost every day and carry (D&D 3.X) books and a speaker (to run the game) along with all life vibes. So far, so good! The only complaint is the way he sits on his back. I'm used to the backpack lying on my back and it crumples up and I can't feel its contact. There are no complaints about zippers or space. Hand straps, if adjusted, stay! (A complaint I've had across multiple bags over the years) Thanks to the company for not making junk product and hope other shoes don't fall off! (I hope it doesn't fail like the last one)
