LOLYKITCH Stainless Steel Pot with Lid Jumbo Cooker 6QT

I have never heard of this manufacturer's name and have never seen such a honeycomb pattern in cookware before. I was a little skeptical, but turns out they're both actually pretty impressive. Before using the pan, I didn't know if that raised honeycomb pattern was going to be an effective non-stick coating, and it ends up being. You can see in one of my photos that some of the food was burned a bit and stuck to the pan. Even after washing with soap and water, some burned residue remained. We always keep a bottle of Barkeeps Friend handy for our stainless steel pots and pans and this material did an excellent job of removing those little residues. (Hint: get Barkeeps Friend for stainless steel cookware). It cleans perfectly. The weight of this pan is heavier, but it's definitely good for cookware. It's not nearly as heavy as a cast iron pot, but it's heavy enough for you to work with safely and not get damaged. It doesn't feel cheap and light. The glass lid fits perfectly without allowing extra space or unwanted movement. The handles on the lid and the handles on the main pot are perfect. The main handles keep all the heat off the handle and I never needed an oven mitt when cooking. The honeycomb design means you can use steel cookware, but I wouldn't recommend it at all if that's all you've got. It's worth noting that I almost always cook with wooden utensils, but when I used a wooden spoon in this pan, I wondered how the raised honeycomb design could actually pull bits of wood off the spoon if you scratched too hard. I don't know if that's true, and I'm certainly not saying my spoon was frayed in any way, but it was a thought. If I find the wooden utensils to be worn in any way, I will most likely end up using silicone utensils exclusively. I can't leave this review without mentioning the misspellings at the bottom of the pot. As my caption says, etching misspellings into your product line isn't the best way to show superiority. I know this is a simple mistake, but it happens when you print, not when you send the product to production! $80 (at the time of writing this article) may sound expensive, but it really isn't. Aside from the engraved spelling mistakes, this product looks and feels like a much more expensive product. You could easily add another $50 and if word of mouth helped sell the product it would still be worth it. Come early while you can!
