Sizing did not fit as expected based on the size of the champion shorts ordered in mid summer. The champion said the size should be the same but could not sit in 1 pr. 1 was also tight standing. There is no definite way of knowing why 1 size fits mid-August and this one doesn't fit early November. No, I haven't gained weight, I've lost some weight due to my cancer treatment. I don't know how 5X will work but I'll let someone know. By the way, Millie, the woman I spoke to at Champion is a pleasure to deal with. Polite, took the time to address my concerns, seemed very interested and extremely helpful!
