I bought these to replace the 'screw' clasps I bought for my threaded diamond earrings. Even the rear bolts can come loose (and have on a number of occasions) so I was constantly afraid of losing the diamond studs. I understand it. AND ALLELUJA! These backs are the safest and most comfortable backs! They were a little "hard" to put on, but that's what I wanted. Now I can wear my earrings 24/7 and never have to worry about losing them again!
