I use this cable to extend my laptop cables that are too short to reach the desk I work at. The cable feels strong and fits well on both ends. I've been using this for a few years with one laptop and a few months with another laptop. The 6 foot length is just the extra length I need to be able to use the laptop anywhere without having to adapt to the laptop's short cord.
