If you've ever dealt with toxins in your local tap water, these filters are a lifesaver. I originally had a Brita faucet filter, but not only did the unit start to leak, the diverter valve became too tight to turn. This InstaPure filter is much better built and the replacement cartridges are cheaper than the Brita cartridges. They work just as well. These are better filters than the lower models in the InstaPure range and remove many other particles like lead (which I'm concerned about in this old house). The water is odorless and tasteless.
