Dead Pedal is a good solution for my JL Wrangler that needs a left foot rest. My right leg is jealous. The package was complete and well packed except for the instructions. The product page photos are all you need for the build and other user reviews make the small adjustments needed to complete it, along with good advice from a select few. I had no problem loosening the screw on the firewall used to attach it. The only tools needed were a 1/2" ratchet socket, a 10mm ratchet socket and a 5mm allen wrench. I suggest mounting the dead pedal on the bolt without tightening the 1/2" nut and checking the position until you like the position. I followed another reviewer's advice with my size and it was fine for me. About half an hour from start to finish for me. Well built and matt lacquered with a slightly rough finish. Can be easily moved to remove the floor mat if needed. Stays in place when moving, durable. It's not known if rust is an issue, I believe it's the steel around. At the moment value for money is dead. It seems odd at first to have a footstool when there wasn't one. However, it is easy to adjust to it and feel comfortable enough. I can't wait to take my doors off so people can see my upgrade and think I'm a real jeeper with skills. You won't notice my 32" tires and standard bumper. I recommend. 3 month update. One of my favorite mods, can't imagine not having it. Holds up well, is very durable and a nice addition to your foot's comfort. I can still recommend it
