For more information about this tool, see my video review. I don't recommend it at all. You can damage the caliper during use due to misalignment of the shoes. Also, it is very difficult to use. I was able to make it smoother by loosening the nylock nut slightly and also taking it apart and lubricating the pin and threads. Note that the nylock nut is left-hand and therefore must be turned clockwise (right) to loosen. I was also able to make the jaws almost parallel by bending them in a vise, but I couldn't fix the jaw misalignment. This is due to improper processing or drilling of the plates, so there is no way to fix this. Do yourself a favor and buy a better instrument. Don't ruin an expensive caliper piston over a pathetic tool excuse.
