Ideal for hanging an Aston Halo reflective filter upside down. I'm a speaker and I find the Aston Halo to be one of the best reflective filters out there, adding that extra professional sounding charm to a semi-finished room. Trouble is, Halo is huge, and unless you can hang it upside down, you'll never be able to use it or read your copy. I actually found a way to hang it upside down without a pole, but this resulted in the mic stand being in front of the halo instead of behind it. This, of course, caused the tiniest sounds of metal reflections, even with scarves wrapped around the pole. The next decision was to buy a brand new mic stand that I saw on youtube that successfully hung the Halo - Ultimate Support MC-125. Except that $199! In any case, it was the perfect €14 solution (as I already have a mic stand and boom) and my recordings sound perfect. It holds easily, is easy to loosen and tighten and is very reliable. Remember that you will first need a boom on your mic stand and then attach it to the boom so it hangs down.
