After reading some reviews I decided to buy this wireless camera system. The initial setup was uncomfortable to say the least. The first camera synced but I had issues with the other two (a set of 3 cameras). I consider myself tech savvy but after a considerable amount of time I haven't been able to get it to work on any of my devices. Online support was not helpful. About a month later I returned the system. The worst part of this experience was the technical support. It was a complete failure on all fronts. There seems to be 3 ways to contact Arlo support. (Chat, help ticket and phone) Let's start with the chat first. I do not know, if everyone was in the lunch break, but no one answered me. The second was the reference ticket. After a while they emailed me back advising me to move closer to the base station when syncing. It doesn't exist in this system. I replied and explained that without the base station I would have everything I needed, only to receive another email saying to move closer to the base station when syncing. So I decided to call tech support. I gave up after waiting 2 hours. I continue to receive emails about my case and other products. I've tried unsubscribing from them, but when I do, they tell me my email address isn't on file. I am serious. Eufy was based on a recommendation from another customer who was also having issues with the Arlo system. So far it has worked very well and the system was cheaper.
