Easy to use. It's worth getting. I liked this one because it has a knob that tightens and loosens the clamp. To really hold it in place, you can also add velcro to the bottom. The included instructions weren't helpful, but I just searched YouTube for help and after that there was no problem. It doesn't wind up thick yarn like a Bernat blanket, but Bernat's Velcro wraps up without ant problems. It curls up into a cake rather than a ball, resulting in a cake that's small but big enough for my needs. I think you really need to use it to know how much yarn you need. I'm glad I bought this even though it was delivered late (USPS issues). I believe this will help you organize your yarn waste. The scissors, plastic yarn needles and markers that came with the kit were also great and better quality than what I bought.
