I have a healing mix. That should say it all. My dog has worn the same collar since I got him 5 years ago. I liked this collar but I told her kennel that... other dogs will find her scent of the day quite interesting - again! I don't even want to list what she and this collar rolled into. Now she makes every effort to "sniff" her new collar every day - LOL - and is a little frustrated that the smelly things aren't staying on her collar. I didn't want a foo foo collar, I wanted a working collar for a working dog and I love this bond collar. This is exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to clean and I think we're about to test every smelly thing on planet earth! Do you guys make dog shampoo as awesome as your collars?
