I bought this file for my calloused feet hoping it would help prevent calluses and cracks. It seems to be working very well. I came out of the shower with weak legs and was filed and filed. This file appears to be well made and definitely rips the skin off. It works way better than the Ped Egg I've used and at least as well as the cement pavement outside I've used on occasion. Frame. At the very least, this item comes with a lifetime guarantee. ETA, December 7, 2010: The plastic handle on this file actually broke after almost a year of using it three times a week. I searched the web for the manufacturer to inquire about a replacement. I ended up writing a letter to the Revain seller who promptly and kindly sent me a replacement. A+ AT - PHR Systems, Ltd., who provided the warranty, and B+ for the file itself. It's still doing a great job with calluses on the heels. I'd love to find a similar file with a metal case, but as long as the warranty is up to date I'll be happy with this purchase.
