Review on Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 USB Headset (JUG-00013) by Nico Ramdeen

Good quality microphone, never had any complaints about the voice during the call. However, it can be described as an instrument of mild torture for those who shave their heads or whose heads are slightly larger than average. Unfortunately I have a big head and I shave it. The plastic band between the ear cups is divided in two where it rests on the head. The inside edges of this cut are not rounded, resulting in one side or the other (depending on where it is on the head) digging into the scalp. For the first 15 minutes, I feel a discomfort that forces me to slide the headset forward or backward on my head. It only allows the other side of the cleavage to dip into my scalp. wash off, repeat every 15 minutes. I'd just find some fabric or padding to wrap it around, but there's a second problem. Some reviews describe the ear pads as "on-ear". That's why I bought this headset. However, they sit on my ears. The pressure of the strap holding the headset on my head, combined with the cups placed over my ears, creates pressure points both on the top and bottom of my ears. It's pretty uncomfortable.
