This dog ramp is well made for the price. The folding and weight of the ramp was light enough for my 75 year old mother with her 70 pound three legged dog. The ramp also had great support and width for her dog, but we ended up sending the ramp back because it didn't fit in my mom's Hyundai Santa Fe. Through the rear gate of the car, the ramp became too steep for the dog. Placing a dog in the seats behind the driver is ideal for a dog, but not for a ramp. I would suggest the ramp packaging could use some padding. There was only one box around the ramp, adding to the possibility of shipping damage. We had everything in order, so that shows that the project is pretty strong. If you have a minivan, this ramp will work fine, but be aware that not all rear seat car doors will open wide enough for the ramp to securely latch.
