Review on ๐Ÿ—ƒ๏ธ DecorRack 40 Plastic Mini Containers: Perfect Craft Storage Solution for Beads, Glitter, Slime, Paint, Seeds - Small Clear Empty Cups with Lids by Michelle Langley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for painting projects of limited duration

I draw models and figures and it helps to mix colors as they have the same shade on different parts, but the problem is mixing more paint than for one area is needed. It often happens that when you want to use it again a few hours later, the same paint is dry or smeared, even with palette wetting spray. And if you use a dampening spray, you increase the paint's drying time when you use it, which can often increase project completion time because you have to wait longer for paints you don't want to mix to dry. with the new color you want to apply. It's quite difficult to find small containers, which are really airtight, and so you often invest heavily in large storage jars with lids, but since they usually hold a few ounces if you only put in about 10ml of mixed paint, the amount of air you cover with paint will dry it out anyway. It's the perfect size for around 20ml or less of paint, and while they may not seal completely, the lid snaps on tightly and the paint you put in stays wet and mixing for over 24 hours, which is a lot of time for a project that I'm working on. I put one aside when I finished the project to see how long it would last and it didn't slip for 3 days and was still usable on day 5. even if there were 5 ml of paint in the container. It dries up after a few weeks, so it's not a solution, to mix paint and store indefinitely, but there should be enough mixed paint of the same color to get you through the project unless you take weeks off between work and in it. In that case, you can try another option or seal these containers in an airtight ziplock bag until ready to use again. They're easy to clean, like new after washing with soap and warm water, and are made from heavier-weight plastic that won't wrinkle, making them very economical. Very happy with this purchase but should have enough mixed paint of the same color for you to see in the project. unless you take a few weeks off between work.
