I love these flashlights. They are very bright and make it easier to see objects. The main lantern has a massive cylinder and only opens at one end. My only criticism of this flashlight is that the battery holder has no restricting sides to protect the dummy pastry. I've seen a battery case that had small plastic protrusions on either side of the spring (negative) side of the battery to protect the springs from users trying to push the battery in sideways, rather than properly inserting the battery diagonally and then pushing down the Spring.
