I was looking for a second display for my work laptop [Dell Latitude 5500] for presentations/spreadsheets, but didn't want to put an external monitor and all those extra cables in the kitchen. This block seemed to have decent reviews. I was able to set up with a USBC cable [cable included with the monitor], no extra cables or drivers required! Sometimes the display gets weird [flat], but all I have to do is remove/reinstall the USBC cable on the laptop. so far satisfied with the purchase.
