Creative collar! We have a large puppy who is also growing fast and needed a collar for his dog tags, also it was to be a retractable collar for a long haired dog and it had to be at least 2 months old. I ordered 4 different brands to compare and this one won! I will definitely order a size up! It's good quality, the buckle feels nice, it's easier to close/open than some but it's not as flimsy as any of the ones I've ordered. The length allows it to grow in (about 2 inches longer than the genuine leather fashion I tried which also turned out to be defective). smells like nothing (neither vinyl nor leather) but looks and feels similar. Made flawlessly. The black color will bleed if your dog spends time on the concrete deck like ours does, but that's okay. I love the color options! I think he's strong enough if we put a leash on him, although we didn't plan to, but I was looking for a good buckle, mainly so that our puppy wouldn't break it, he's strong and stubborn)))
