I bought this suspension because it had everything I needed to install extra headlights on my 2007 BMW R1200GS. (switch, fuse, relay and waterproof disconnect wire to auxiliary lighting) The switch was a big disappointment in the wiring harness. it didn't look very durable or waterproof, and it came with double-sided tape to hold it in place. So I bought a waterproof steering wheel switch from Amazon, cut off the original switch and installed a new one. Perfect solution. This suspension is designed for off-road use, so all of the cables were too long for my setup. no problem. After installing the lanterns, I "dry” bent, put a tourniquet and marked the places where it was necessary to cut and splice. I used waterproof crimp connectors, heat shrink tubing and flexible tubing to route the shortened wiring harness to the bike. I was able to find a great place to mount the relay and fuse under the seat so they don't get wet. I am still very happy with the purchase. The wiring harness took a little longer to install but is well constructed and was not damaged by my trimmings and splices. I am very happy with the additional auxiliary lights on my bike and would recommend this item for use with any motorcycle setup. I'm not very comfortable with electrical work on my bike but the setup is easy and I haven't had any issues after all the changes I've made to the suspension.
