These hooks are great for hanging fat bikes, they are strong and good looking. For reference I have a Salsa Beargrease with 27.5x4 hoops and the hook is wide enough. My wife's Salsa Mukluk with 26 x 4.6 tires hangs on one of them with no problem. My only gripe is that after hanging/hanging my fat bike, which weighs 38lbs with frame bags, rack and panniers, about 8 times, the blue rubber coating on the hook started peeling off so I had to wrap duct tape around it to keep it off scratched discs. The same thing happened to my wife's fat bike hook. That could be because the spokes on both of our bikes are quite close together, so no matter how carefully we hang the bikes, they will rub against the blue surface.
