Takes apart to fit hardware

It's been less than 2 weeks since they've been on my chairs and the plastic caps are already coming loose from the rails or are worn out. I'm not sure if this will make a huge difference as it appears to be just an extra layer of protection and not something required for the product to function. BUT it's still quite annoying to see how quickly they started falling apart. All in all the product still works so I can't give them only 1 star. Just waiting for the rest to fall off.
