If you need to replace your GE profile microwave bulb and are wondering if this Panasonic bulb will work, rest easy knowing this bulb is an exact replacement for a non-GE bulb manufactures. . After a thorough web search I found that GE lightbulbs were no longer available (discontinued) and was surprised to see a few people selling USED lightbulbs from disassembled GE microwave ovens for $13. For USED LAMPS! I'm not sure who's crazy, the person selling the used lightbulb or the guy buying it. Anyway, I was able to find an outdated GE lightbulb and they came up with this Panasonic. It has the correct terminals for wire connectors. The lamp fits and works great. A note to owners of GE Profile microwaves. Replacing a lightbulb is kind of a headache. There is no access panel for changing the lightbulb, so you will need to remove the microwave's lid/housing to access the lightbulb. You will need a Phillips screwdriver and a Torx 25. The entire bulb replacement takes about 15-20 minutes. There is a helpful video on YouTube with step-by-step instructions.
