Used this on 3 young toads that I have raised from tadpoles until they were big enough for 20 gallons. The top is not thin enough to prevent fruit flies from escaping. I only noticed it after sprinkling calcium on the flies one night. I spent an hour spraying them off the screen trying to capture everything that came through. I didn't have this problem as long as I splashed water on the glass AND dusted the flies with calcium powder before feeding, which distracted the flies long enough to get eaten. to go over 10W and add a shim or your tank could go over 90F. There is no front door for easy cleaning, but for the price I was ok with that minor inconvenience.
