Review on Water Resistant Galaxy Note 10+/9/8 Armband for Gym and Running - JEMACHE Arm Band Case with Key Holder (Rose) by Kirk Womack

The touchscreen is great and that's about it.

Okay, I exercise a lot and a big problem is keeping track of my phone and important things like keys, fitness cards etc. When I do cardio or weightlifting I need easy access to my phone when I go outside, I need my ID, house key, phone and headphones (maybe even a gate/building entry key). The bracelet tries to accommodate these things but is only 30% correct. That's what the bracelet has: adjustable velcro with extra extension for big muscular arms ;) a small pocket, which according to the logo is used to store small items like keys, a card slot that can hold about 4-5 credit cards simply - slot for wired headphones - Main compartment that houses the phone: - The touchscreen works great even with a protective film, which was a big plus for me. - Volumetric indicators on the side. - Flap that flips open to keep phone in place. Sounds good right? ok, let's get started: Strap: The strap attaches with Velcro, which sounds good from the front. The problem is that the velcro is not strong enough to withstand much resistance. This means that when you bend it, it will burst and fall off. "Then get a belt extender, problem solved." Good idea, big brain. I will do just that! but oh no! The band is now too loose and slipping everywhere because the velcro areas are limited or not strong enough to hold it up during activities. Damn! Card Slot: - I assume the pressure of the strap is there to keep them in place, but with the above issue you can only guess what the problem is. Small Item (Key) Slot: - This seems disconcerting because the slot is not a lonely area. What does that mean? This means that when you put your key inside, it has room to move into all of the bracelet's other compartments, as nothing can keep it in place. Wired Headphones - I use wireless headphones so haven't tried them yet. Although it looks promising. Touchscreen: - Very responsive, honestly a big surprise because I have a thick screen protector on my phone and I thought there would be problems. Screen 10/10. Volume: - Easy access depending on what case your phone is in. Mine is in a suburban otter box and I crank the volume up like a champ. Phone compartment: - The compartment holds the phone well and doesn't move, I assume it's because of the material? idk A fabric strap secures the top and must remain closed. When I refused to wear the bracelet on my hand and decided to carry it in my hand with all my belongings in it, my phone didn't move and didn't feel like it was going to fall out. I no longer use this item and it just sits in the corner of my gym bag. Alone and forever breathing in the smell of my sweaty workout clothes and gear.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Easy maintainability
