Review on Klipsch RSB-3 Bluetooth Soundbar, Black - All-in-one Sound Solution for Enhanced Audio Experience by Anna Green

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good for the money: Home Audio

First complaint with Klipsch. Why is this the best standalone soundbar you sell separately? I have a 12" subwoofer and I don't have to pay $400 for a better soundbar with an 8" subwoofer that I don't need. And I connected this soundbar to an amazing system with a headphone cable. Why? Because you've hooked up an HDMI connection to something that has a disposable 8-inch subwoofer. I don't like spending $120 for no reason, sorry. So here I am with a 4k setup and this center channel is connected in analog as the amp doesn't have a digital output only on the input. Your other soundbars have HDMI ports. Okay so this soundbar if you use it straight from your TV would be an improvement and really good value for the money. It looks good and sounds pretty good. It has an internal wheeze, although as others have said I don't know how it passed quality control, but you'll hear it less than 1% of the time, not often. For the money I would say great. But is it really that great? No, I'd happily pay $200 or $300 for a better Klipsch soundbar, but they all come with subwoofers. 3 monitors above eye level or under my desk so I can talk without blocking the monitor like a soundbar should have been. But I surf the web and use my receiver to play web stuff through the speakers, so I had to use analog PAH. Please share your models with Klipsch. I understand you making "combos" for people who don't have a subwoofer, but you have to consider those who don't need a subwoofer or already have a better one, they don't need those combos! There's a really good $400 HDMI soundbar out there, but it comes with a subwoofer, not a separate one.
