Review on H System GU10 Line Voltage Track Lighting Fixture White HTC-9154-WH (Bulb Not Included) by Eric Dailey

I bought 3 of these and used Hue Philip GU10 bulbs with them. The quality seems great. One reviewer complained that the caterpillar head didn't hold the bulb in place. I had no problems with that. The base that the bulb attaches to isn't fixed, but it presses the bulb firmly against the front of the head to keep it level. My only guess is that if you used smaller bulbs they wouldn't slide all the way forward in the caterpillar head and could hang down or something. If you're using standard sized bulbs you should be fine. I've seen in other railhead reviews that they don't connect well to the rail and need adjustment to make a good electrical connection. These track heads worked great with my track. The power arrived when they were only half rotated into position on the track and didn't even flicker after that. The color is light cream. If you install them in a place with lots of natural light, you may worry about that. But if you put them in a closet or elsewhere, they're the only source of light you can't see.
