This shirt was not quite what I thought. I was thinking it was more of a cotton-knit shirt, but after I received it I realized it was a polyester compression shirt. My bad. This review is for what the shirt is, though, not what I had hoped. Because it is definitely something I'll wear when winter comes.The shirt is 87% polyester / 13% elastic compression shirt that is made in China. It feels quite comfortable, though. the elastic in the fabric allows the shirt to stretch out quite well so you have a full range of motion when you are wearing it. It appears a lot of thought was put in to things like the placement of seams, stitching, and tags. The manufacturer says this shirt also provides UV protection so it would be good to wear when jogging or outdoor activities during the summer.I'll wear this shirt like I would a flannel undershirt. I'll wear it under a sweater when skiing. It feels like it will provide good protection in the winter without becoming to hot during the warmer parts of the day.
