Review on 🔧 Upgraded Carburetor for Tecumseh 632615 632208 632589 H30 H35 by Brandon Pratt

It was purchased to replace the carburetor on an Eagle One Edger. The diagram shows carburetor part number 632589 and the original carburetor used a primer lamp for the starter circuit. Unfortunately, this carburetor is apparently no longer available. This carb claims to be compatible, but instead of a primer bulb, it has a choke. Not finding anything else, I decided to give it a try. After installation, the edge cutter started and worked perfectly. I had to adjust the idle mixture screw - the one on the underside - a bit to get a nice smooth idle, but after that it was perfect. However, I have to point out one caveat. On the intake side of the carburetor, where an air cleaner mounting screw is located, the mounting holes are unthreaded. First you need to tap them yourself with a 10-32 thread. Not a big deal, but something to consider if you don't have a set of taps and dies handy.
