Review on Crane 13165 Riten Brass Bell by Jathan Louis

I explored until I turned purple. This bell is top notch. The fit and finish is smooth, shiny and ready to go. The large BRASS dome emits a clear, even annular ring. The metal strap fits comfortably on any size handlebar. No special measurements are required. The dome unscrews easily so I can access the internal mechanism. There is no oil on the moving parts, gears and rotating shafts so I sprayed silicone on the mechanism. This makes it smoother and prolongs its service life. Definitely recommend this simple service if you want the bell to perform at its best and last for many years. I mounted my bell on the right handlebar and activated it with my thumb. All dimensions make it very simple/easy to install and security ring. Offers maximum performance with a loud ringing sound (not an annoying noise but a clear warning) and well worth the extra money. Shipped via US Mail bubble wrap and arriving in about a week or so. Prime did not help with this item when I ordered. Not particularly cheap, but you get what you pay for with this 60mm bell. BOTTOM LINE: Loud, clear ding-dong sound. Engineered to last. EASY TO EARN 5 STARS.
