Review on Bricktoon V3 Portable Bluetooth Wireless by Josh Lockhart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Neat product, well finished.

Looks very solid and well built. The audio output filled almost every room in my house, including my living room. Sound quality was decent, and I didn't hear any buzzing, popping, or speaker distortion on the speaker cones at high volumes when clipped. I mainly use this speaker in the kitchen when I'm cooking and in the shower. Bluetooth pairing was easy (shows up as "Bricktoon" and I didn't have to enter a standard code on my phone) and the FM radio worked great. Another review said the radio doesn't work well, but that may depend on the area you live in. I was able to get the auto-programming to work by holding down the play button while the radio was on, and I had plenty of low-frequency stations. The FM band, my favorite station in particular, is 87.7 FM (Radio Korea). The AUX audio cable sound worked well, wasn't as loud as the bluetooth sound, but this could be due to the need for a more expensive AUX cable, or maybe it wasn't very suitable for my computer's line out as I have one of which had bought the cheapest computer cases. I already have computer speakers, and the old line out method is dinosaur technology, so it's not a problem. Bluetooth audio from my laptop worked just as well as it did on my phone.
