It does what it says, but.

I searched all over Revain for 3 days looking for something like this to use for our homeschooling. I read reviews, searched Google to see if there were stores or somewhere else that sold this kind of product, but landed on this one. I liked the reviews and how other customers described their experiences with it. So, I bought it. With Prime, I got it super fast and was excited to open it up, adhere it to our boards, and begin using the whiteboards. Well, that excitement ended quickly and here's why.At first glance, the whiteboard contact paper is rolled tightly and comes in a thin box. Inside the inner tube is where you'll find the dry erase markers and cloth to clean the board. I unrolled the entire whiteboard to it's full length in order to attempt to straighten it out some. I routinely buy 5D diamond paintings, so when you purchase canvases that are rolled tightly when shipped, you need to flatten it to straighten it. You DO get quite a bit for the price, which is amazing. The value for money is definitely on point. It does wipe off pretty easily, using the markers provided or by using the ones you can purchase at a store. The whole purpose for a whiteboard is to write/draw/create/etc over and over again, so it definitely did serve the purpose for which it's intended. The biggest downfall for the one I received was this. After unrolling it and attempting to straighten it prior to use, I noticed several huge lines going through the length of the whiteboard contact paper. It spans the entirety of it's full length. Thinking it wouldn't be an issue upon adhesion to our boards, I cut the amount required using the grid lines - which is EXTREMELY useful, by the way. This was a big positive to aide in cutting the size needed. I first followed the adhesion instructions provided. *Note* It DOES take more than one person to adhere to anything bigger than an area of a small square. This part wasn't particularly fun at all, by any means. The stickiness is extreme, making it difficult to move it at all or rearrange it. If you put this on your walls, be aware that it could take the paint with it when it's removed. After getting it started, we used the scraper we had from when we applied tinting to our home windows. This did very well in removing air bubbles and smoothing the *majority* of it down. (You can see in the picture that it didn't lay flat at the top, but curled instead.)Then there was the large lines we had seen. Not only did it NOT smooth down, but it completely ruined the project for the portion we had cut to size.I looked at the remainder of contact paper (which is still a decent amount as this is pretty big) and the line goes all the way through. However, this isn't just a regular buldge where it may have stuck to itself, but it's actually cut. I'm not sure if what I received may have been damaged during production, and therefore should have never made it past quality control, but I'm not able to use the rest of it. In fact, I had to throw out the project that I'd already put together as it's straight down the middle of the board and renders it unusable for the purpose of which I'm using it.Needless to say, I'm not able to use this product. Since there's no returns or refunds, I'm out the money spent on this and will have to spend MORE money on purchasing from a different company. It's disappointing for sure.
