Review on High-End ArtStyle Ballistic Buckle with Premium Materials by Nick Granner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My first NATO strap: this one sets standards

OVERVIEW: This is a well-made strap with no obvious flaws, the color is true to life, the hardware is well made. It comes with 2 spring bars and a tool. Recommended. I had never heard of a NATO strap before until I saw a review of someone attaching one to their Casio. I always thought a nylon strap would be easy and practical, but little did I know that it's easy to put on almost any watch. I chose this one because the reviews were good and I liked the matte black steel loops and buckle. The belt came with a pair of spring bars and a spring bar tool, which is a nice touch. It was a little difficult to remove the old spring bars since it was my first time, but I finally figured it out. The strap is made of high quality nylon with a nice finish on the edges. The end of the strap has been carefully soldered to prevent wear. The holes were also heat treated for the same reason. All seams appear to have been double stitched for strength. The black finish of the hardware is beautifully matt and looks high quality. In general the tape is of good quality, I hope it will last a long time. I have a medium to small wrist for a man and there are lots of holes to make the strap smaller or larger. I ended up cutting an extra inch off the end, but maybe I should have left it as I can't get a good heat seal on the end with a lighter. It may be better to use a soldering iron or an electric stove for this.
