Small scratching post
Sturdy for its size, assembles in a minute or less, lined with soft, silky plush. It might not be the best option for an adult cat but it's perfect for my kitty who uses it with ease. Keep in mind that on a human it will be around mid-calf, so this is kitten size. My 2 year old Siamese tabby mix is stunned by this, uses him as a stepping stone to the windowsill and opts for his cardboard scratching post instead. Maybe one day he'll find out, but I suspect he needs a taller bar with a larger diameter, something he can stand on his hind legs and hold on to.
