, I bought one of these as a gift for someone and I liked it so much I bought another one. The first was for the MacBook Pro. , and fits well with it and protects it from scuffs in pockets. The second one I bought was for the iPad. That works too and the elastic pen loop is good. It fits so loosely that the custom-fit iPad Smart Cover also fits into this case. I have a 6th generation iPad, which is slightly smaller than current models. The case itself is made of soft leather. The gift version has been polished to a high gloss. Mine has a light suede finish. The performance seems solid. The skin itself has a fairly distinctive odor; the product insert states that this is due to the protective treatment of the skin. To me it smells like a store full of horse equipment and harnesses. It might be a bit harsh for some, but I have positive associations with the scent, so I like it. The price here is not exorbitant. Especially for the obvious quality of these sleeves.
