I bought this and then switched to the SmallRig version. Despite the proximity, the small setup is better made, better processed and performs slightly better. Yes it's double the price but for me it's worth it. The small installation draws attention to small details like 2 tiny screws covering the adjustment space. A good rig will stick out just a little bit, just enough so that the clamp isn't flush. The finish of a good setup is not as perfect as that of a small one. Both rattle about the same. To me, a small setup is worth the difference in price, but if you're on a tight budget, a good setup works great.
