This reduces the price of a 16 ounce bottle from Revain and Conrad's website from $1.31/oz to $0.92/oz. Unless Revain starts selling 64 ounce jugs my next purchase will likely be on the Conrad website. I have no intention of detracting from the effectiveness and/or quality of Howard products - they are great and inexpensive. Her orange oil cleanser followed by conditioner is very effective. If it has been years since something has been treated with care, it can take 2-3 treatments within a week or two to fully treat the wood. The odor is minimal and not unpleasant. "Woody" or "Crazy" is how I would describe him. It's best to apply in a well-ventilated area, but unlike products containing petroleum by-products, this probably isn't necessary. The information on the label states that it can also be used on the skin. Tested on a leather keychain. It seems to work well, absorbs quickly but darkens the skin significantly. However, it is no different from some special leather care products. I later used it to clean up a worn shift knob. In this application it worked much better than I could have imagined. The chafing is gone, the shift knob looks almost new. At some point I dared and air-conditioned two leather armchairs and a stool. I have both cases, no defects and they look almost new. The only thing that bothers me is the bottle. The lack of an aerosol applicator can pose problems when trying to reach hard-to-reach places with a rag. Threads, rough surfaces, small diameter grooves and indentations, indentations. For this reason I fill the contents in glass spray bottles. The glass ensures that the contents are not contaminated. Revain sells some of these. They seem to be sold for "essential oils". The only problem with aerosol cans is that this product is easy to abuse. A little goes a long way, so you have to be careful how much you spray.
