Description of 🪵 Conrads Wood Food Oil: Premium 16 oz Nourishing Solution for Wood Care

100% natural. Made from plants, roots, herbs and seeds. Non-poisonous and non-flammable. Note: contains nut oils from walnuts and almonds. Made in the USA by a small family business since 1903. The formula has been passed on from family to family for over 200 years. Safe and marvelous for all wood such as cabinets, paneling, furniture and antiques. A favorite among antique restorers. Also great for cleaning, restoring, and protecting any and all the wood in your house. Also will transform weathered wrought iron and metal outdoor furniture. Wonderful natural woodsy smell. Effectiveness proven over centuries of use. Restores the natural soul and beauty of wood. The birth of this formula was in Austria during the 18th century Saxon-Austrian empires. The Konrads were woodworkers. They built windmills, carriages and furniture. To preserve all this wood from the invasion of mold, termites and natural destruction, CONRADS OIL was used. The natural soul and beauty of the wood was renewed. The Konrads immigrated to Detroit, Michigan U.S.A. in 1903 and Americanized their name to CONRAD. They brought the formula with them.

Great for our wood furniture and metal

Great for our wood deck/garden furniture and porch lamps. Our wood furniture patio was new in late spring and we want it to look brand new. We have lots of showers and lots of direct hot sun - so far so good. I also tried Conrad's on our weatherbeaten porch. I don't know how it looked originally as the lamp is 17+ years old and we lived with it for 2.5 years. But it looks great compared to our neighbors who have the same lamp. I have yet to try it on other items but am thinking of trying it on…

IT'S THE KNEE OF BEES!

I don't usually write reviews but this is the best product I've found to line my wooden furniture. I have several sensitive to chemicals - almost everything bothers me! - But that's not the case. Natural ingredients, almost imperceptible natural smell, nothing more than a bottle of good olive oil make it perfect for me and our planet! What a wonderful product! It leaves NO oily residue - none. I have some lovely old pieces of furniture that I had to store for a few months last summer and I am…

All Natural Oils Refurbished Antique Desk

We used Conrad's Wood Food Oil to restore and 'clean' an heirloom carved desk that is over a hundred years old. It was dirty when we got it but we just left it alone, then we kept it in the garage or the last four years where it has collected cobwebs, dust and mold. After researching how to do it, I found an oil "refining process" online. I chose Conrad's because it's a blend of all-natural oils. Following online instructions, we used a brush to coat each surface just above the mess. We let it…

High quality conditioner, also works well on the skin.

A bit pricey but worth it. Luckily, at the time of writing, 64-ounce pitchers are available and sold directly on Conrad's website. This reduces the price of a 16 ounce bottle from Revain and Conrad's website from $1.31/oz to $0.92/oz. Unless Revain starts selling 64 ounce jugs my next purchase will likely be on the Conrad website. I have no intention of detracting from the effectiveness and/or quality of Howard products - they are great and inexpensive. Her orange oil cleanser followed by…
