Review on 🪵 Conrads Wood Food Oil: Premium 16 oz Nourishing Solution for Wood Care by Thomas Mertz

We used Conrad's Wood Food Oil to restore and 'clean' an heirloom carved desk that is over a hundred years old. It was dirty when we got it but we just left it alone, then we kept it in the garage or the last four years where it has collected cobwebs, dust and mold. After researching how to do it, I found an oil "refining process" online. I chose Conrad's because it's a blend of all-natural oils. Following online instructions, we used a brush to coat each surface just above the mess. We let it soak overnight and then wiped it off on our hand with an old sock. We can't believe how the table looks! It's never looked so good! It is clean, and the wood is nourished and moistened with oil. We will be buying more and using a maintenance schedule for all of our wood furniture and antiques. A few tips: 1) Place old cardboard boxes on the floor under furniture to protect the floor from dripping; 2) If you are making an unfinished bottom, be careful when rubbing to avoid splinters. 5 stars = I love it.
