Review on Energizer E522 Max Alkaline 9V Battery - Pack of 4 by Max Stallworth

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Seems to be the best deal for branded 9 volt batteries

Like many other reviewers I ordered these for our smoke alarms which require 9 volt batteries because we were at the end of it . My husband buys the cheapest 9v batteries he can find and they are never the big brands which I prefer. Even cheap 9V batteries at the store are about $4 for two batteries, which is crazy. Our home insurance sends us a few every year, which is good, but we need more because there are smoke detectors in every room in our house except the kitchen. These Energizer Max batteries were the best deal I found on Revain for name brand batteries. I was happy to find them for a little less than my husband paid for cheap batteries that don't even last very long. Since I only bought them to store, I haven't used them yet, but I've put all four in our battery tester and each is fully tested. The expiry date of each of them is 12-2024. Like many other reviewers, I received the batteries in clear plastic packaging. I'm not sure why so many people think it's fake just because it's not in the standard packaging? I personally don't care what package they come in as long as they work for my needs. Especially in this price range. If I don't have any issues with either of these batteries I will definitely be buying them again in the future. By the way, in case anyone is wondering, the battery tester I used was bought from this site. They don't sell the exact same one anymore, but I've bought a similar one 3 times to give away to friends who always use our battery tester. This is one of the most used items in my house! A must have item if you have kids with battery operated toys! Here is the link: https://smile.amazon.com/Tenergy-T-333-Universal-Multi-Purpose-Batteries/dp/B000KK7FEY
