Don't worry about the wrapped part fitting your ankle. I have slightly thicker ankles and it does, I'm not sure how comfortable a tightly wrapped strap would be for long hours of wear. I plan on pulling this piece out of the loop at the back and trimming the strap so it doesn't look like a coiled top strap. In either case, the strap is not finished at the end and is left without a portion of the strap to wrap around the ankle. The strap is thick enough to bypass the metal tab and not use the hole. If you're worried about it coming off, you can poke a new hole. The straps around the toe are a little loose and may not fit narrow feet without slipping or looking weird. My toe box is a bit wider and there is a lot of room in it. Pretty comfortable for heel height and thin soles. Definitely sexy nude shoes.
