Review on 🔳 Arlington Industries DVFR3W-1 Triple Gang Wall Plate in White by Caleb Quade

I ordered this 3-post recessed junction box to mount in the wall on our porch that we are adding to our house, so it's basically a 'new job'. The part arrived with Revain's usual fast turnaround times, which was good as we were pretty much within the installation deadline. Unfortunately, when the box was opened, the plastic front panel shattered into three or four pieces. There were no foamy peanuts or packaging material. I reported product damage to Revain and return instructions were sent to my email and a replacement was issued. That set us back at least two days. After receiving the replacement everything went smoothly. Again, the installation is actually a new job, so it was really very easy. When installing the faceplate, you guessed it, it cracked! And please trust me when I say I didn't over tighten the screws. Overtightening occurs when you overtighten the bolts, from overtightening, and then overtightening. Please believe me I didn't even have time to snuggle up! The plate just cracked! Luckily it didn't break in half and split the plate into pieces, but it was a big crack nonetheless. This plate is definitely not nylon or PVC, but thin plastic. This would not be a major problem if the recessed panel was a standard size and could be easily replaced in the shop. It is not; it is slightly smaller than the standard faceplate. I guess now that it's in place and technically hidden behind the TV, it's not worth returning. The box is very strong and durable. Then they add a faceplate for $0.25 and mess everything up.
