I ordered this shirt in a size XL for my son who is 9 years old and tall for his age (4ft 8in and 99lbs). It is true to size (which is what we usually buy for him) and is a bit long which I liked to give him room to grow and extra comfort. printed polyester but soft and smooth and my picky son loves to wear it. It stretches very little. He chose a pattern (sunset sky with palm trees). The colors are vibrant but not super blinding/bright. This was the perfect shirt for him to wear to a luau party.
