Review on Schleich 14584 Acrocanthosaurus Toy Figure by Chuck Derrick

Schleich dinosaurs are simply made with high quality. Easy and uncomplicated. Their designs are always top notch, with realistic designs that are made to last. Color reproduction is always great with such fidelity, and while it can chip easily after rough play, the next coat of paint only shows through a little. It doesn't usually come off in big chunks or anything, just tiny patches since they're hand painted. Real works of art. They only come as dinosaurs with a tag, but they ship normally. This is a reliable toy. The pose looks accurate and realistic which makes it great to play with. Acrocanthosaurus seems to be the right size compared to other Schleich dinosaurs and that means it gets more use because it's the right size compared to other toys as my kids care a lot about it. I really like these toys and so do my kids. My only minor gripe is that while I think the pose looks realistic, I'm not as big a fan of this dinosaur pose as some of Schleich's others. But that's just my opinion. Having said that I would recommend this unit and am glad we bought it as it has been used quite a bit.
