I bought this kit so I can move the industrial controller's internal and risky storage battery; Moving a removable battery outside of the controller. With the kit you can flexibly create an additional circuit board for the controller. The second external board contains the new battery slot. This avoids ESD problems and the risk of playing the operational game; changing the memory battery on a live controller with shaky hands and live chips nearby. Excellent value for money and quality!
