I installed this when my new house was completed and I'm so glad I did! My bathroom and kitchen fixtures don't have all of the hard water stains and blockage that my friends and family living near me do. The filters are reasonably priced and easy to change. It truly amazes me how dirty they are when I change them, I'm thankful that my family isn't consuming all that! Also, my fixtures and appliances (water heater, washing machine, dishwasher and ice maker) are protected from all the sediment that can cause issues. I learned first hand that it's important to protect the system from freezing weather though. I live on the coast in Texas and freezes aren't common here so I didn't wrap or enclose my system and one of the canisters cracked after unexpected freezing temperatures that lasted for 5 days. My warranty is expired because it's over 2 years old; HOWEVER , when I contacted customer service, the representative, Brian, said he'd get a replacement housing sent to me. A health and money saving investment backed by excellent customer service, doesn't get much better than that!
