Noise in the microphone

Headphones work fine, but there is a lot of noise in the microphone. This means they don't generally replace my regular stock headphones that come with the console, but they do serve the main purpose I bought them for. They let me play video games while my girlfriend sleeps or watches another TV. The goods arrived in good condition and on time. Update - January 2012: It's been almost a year and they still work the same way. The noise in the microphone has not disappeared, but the headphones themselves work. If you're trying to use them as a microphone replacement I'd suggest a better model, but if you just want to route your TV audio through your headphones then this is a good option for the price. If you plug it into the back of your TV, you can just leave it plugged in. The sound always comes out of them, so I just turn down the volume on the TV itself when using them. Otherwise I just keep them rolled up. Update 12/07/12: A year and 8 months later they still work the same way. Headphone audio sounds quite good (microphone still doesn't work very well).
