Worked for a short time.

purchased over a year ago. Used regularly. Sound quality was as expected from Product Quality of the Week. The headband detached from the earpiece due to the plastic part at the junction (where the headband and earpiece connect) coming loose. Other products found. Bought a high end turtle beach which turned out to be a more expensive version of this headset. It held together better, but there are so many wires to make it work that it's awkward to use. I ended up buying USB headphones for calls…

Earforce XLC on the budget

These headphones are great on the budget! Pros: You can hear the game volume very well and players can hear you clearly. If you're one of those silent players, then that's good for you too! Cons: Cheaply made but I don't mind because you get what you paid for. Static noise is generated when I plug this into my TV's headphone jack. (No static noise when using the adapter, but there is a volume limit) Finally, it's difficult to hear other players as chat volume goes with game volume. (I'm…

Strange quirks with the accessories

These headphones are quite comfortable and deliver a great sound. However, it's a bit annoying to use them for chat in multiplayer games. There is only one volume slider that controls chat and game volume at the same time. And the chat is much quieter than the game volume. With Cod:MW2 I have to turn the game volume down to about 10-20% of the original volume to hear other players. I don't use headphones all the time, so I have to constantly adjust the volume. Also, the Xbox menu sounds are too

Headphones earforce xlc

is excellent, nothing could be better. No problem with shipping out of the package. I took my time and opened it slowly and correctly, instead of just crashing in like others might have done. yes, after 5 hours the ears bothered me a bit, but after 5 hours they shouldn't anymore. . I can't think of anything that would make her better. Use common sense when reading these reviews, and reviewers should do the same before condemning a product. This is a great product. the sound is excellent, the…

Great for the price, works as advertised but breaks too quickly.

Got mine and they are amazing! They keep the volume up into the wee hours as I bring hate to the battlefield or draw it on Ace Combat. In any situation, they keep your surroundings calm and keep you on your toes with the sound on. For the price you can't go wrong. This can be a little cumbersome as you will need to adjust your language preferences through the XBOX settings, but it only takes 5 seconds to make the changes for the microphone and speakers to work. Some games that don't have a…

Noise in the microphone

Headphones work fine, but there is a lot of noise in the microphone. This means they don't generally replace my regular stock headphones that come with the console, but they do serve the main purpose I bought them for. They let me play video games while my girlfriend sleeps or watches another TV. The goods arrived in good condition and on time. Update - January 2012: It's been almost a year and they still work the same way. The noise in the microphone has not disappeared, but the headphones…

I have to say after owning a pair of Turtle Beach x11's for over 2 years and these are the best pair of stereo headphones/mics I've ever owned I thought what for a no my god son will be disappointed with a pair of beach XLCs in tortoise shell. Boy was I wrong! The stereo TV adapter was broken from the start, I spent over an hour getting it plugged in and working properly, I could only hear sound coming out of the left earbud unless I unplugged the stereo from the earbud. Adapter then I could…

Turtle Beach XLC good for older systems

(1-22-2012) Really good for the price. My online gaming experience is much better. Ability to hear all kinds of in-game sounds (MW3 and MW2). A little confused in the connection part, game chat and group chat take long time to navigate. Once connected, you'll find the gameplay and voice chat flowing through both the TV and the headset. I just turned down the volume on the TV. To be able to hear with both ears you need to go to the Xbox guide button, scroll right under Settings and Preferences…

Xlc Not what I expected

I got this headset for a reason. All my friends had turtle beaches and I wanted to be better than them. My friend Joe has an X1. He hears everything, and I mean everything. So I decided to find a cheaper way to listen to Ninja Pro. In general they are good. If you've got everything knocked out and you're very immobile (yes, still) you might find a ninja pro, but take them to court. I just played mw2 cod search and there were 2-3 times I felt numb after seeing the kill cam. With my buddies x1 he
