Review on Huma I Advanced ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Portable: Temperature Measurement at Its Finest by Roger King

Seems to be working pretty well.

I don't have any more accurate devices to compare this with objectively, but at least overall it seems accurate. As expected, the particulate matter sensor shows high values in a dusty environment. In cramped spaces with poor airflow or high crowd density, the CO2 sensor readings are actually higher (and simply breathing on the device for a few seconds will result in a noticeable increase in the CO2 reading, as you'd expect, which not only indicates correct operation in general , but also for a fast response time). It frustrates me that CO2 levels are never presented numerically - only in very broad subjective terms "GOOD" vs. "BAD" etc. or as a bar graph on an unlabeled axis. The remaining three indicators can be considered as their decimal values. Although the device has several different screens that can be toggled with the press of a button in the singular, none of these screens show all four displays at the same time. I don't like that it closes. turns off after ten minutes if not connected to network. I'm not exactly expecting the battery life to be that great, but it seems clear that it's going to last at least an hour. I want to be able to use these without maintenance. The status LED cannot be switched off and is very bright - e.g. B. in the bedroom it lights up the whole room at night and I find it difficult to sleep with such a light. It's even worse when it's on battery, as it bursts into a one-minute quick flash nine minutes after you turn it on. fits easily in a pocket and is lightweight. Aside from a few quibbles I mentioned, the only thing I'd most like to have would be records. Any wireless syncing with a computer or phone would be great, but even the ability to record to a micro SD card would make it that much more useful. Currently there is no real way to monitor air quality while sleeping, which seems like a very obvious and clearly intended use case for this device.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE โ€“ Easily read real-time air quality results in graph or icon mode on the OLED display by one-touch button switching. And it's easy to view LED status indicators that quickly update you on the status of CO2, VOCs and particulate matter.
Cons
  • Doubtful
